True Confessions: 11.

I did something crazy. I started a new blog! (I know, I know, I can't even keep up with this one... what makes me think I can do another one?!) But this one is for my writing. My reading. My re-"taking" of a college course I had 6 years ago. I'm pretty stoked about it. You should follow along. There will be new posts everyday ("homework" does that!) Come on over and see me read, write, evoke, ponder, and be.

True Confessions: 10.

"Forgive me Father..." "...for I have sinned." And gravely so. True Confession of my soul: 10. Remember that one time when I was Addicted? Well. I was going on this trip to see my sister (I'll blog all the deets about that. Promise!), and knew that based on how things would go my family would leave and I'd still be sitting at the airport in St. Louis. For like 3 hours. Le sigh. And they don't ascribe to the whole "free internet" thing the rest of the world kindly does. So I knew I was going to be: BORED. And I didn't want to read... because that's what I do on planes. And with 6 hours of flying ahead of me... no reading. So I maybe splurged right before I left and got the Second one ! *SQUEE* It totally came out this summer, but only on the DS, so I was safe. But recently, my good friends over at Steam got it. And then I bought it. And now... I may not be blogging for a while. SUPER SORRY!!! It's. Just. So. Friggin'. Addicting....

True Confessions: 9.

"Forgive me Father..." "...for I have sinned." And gravely so. True Confession of my soul: 9. I'm Addicted. 100% Pretty much every free second since New Years' (when I first opened it), has gone to this . I would feel badly about this, except for the part where it pretty much won every award possible. Therefore I feel justified and refuse to repent. So that's why I haven't returned your call, or texted you, or been on Facebook of late, and also why I haven't touched any of my email, reader, or... oh yeah, my blog. I was all set to do my Year-end posts and be gung ho about the New Year... then I got sucked in. I'm totally already level 50. Heh. PS. They may or may not be coming out with a 2nd one...

True Confessions: 8.

"Forgive me Father..." "...for I have sinned." And gravely so. True Confession of my soul: 8. I'm now subsisting below the poverty line. And it's SO hard on me. I need to just openly admit this - not because I need charity, compassion, etc., but because I'm so fricking PRIDEFUL that I'm first and foremost mortified for anyone to know this. So I'm saying it out loud so you all know. This week I went to the Bishop's Storehouse to get food. I, yes I, prideful, independent, doesn't need help from anyone, got food today from the Storehouse. 4 hours of service work to "pay" for it, but still. This is killing me. I just want a job that actually MAKES USE of my degree, and skills - writing. Something. Anything. I don't care if I have to write Real Estate papers. I don't care if it's in advertising, legal, marketing, just as long as I get to use my tenacity for English and my passion for word-play. I don't want to work at...

True Confessions: 7.

"Forgive me Father..." "...for I have sinned." And gravely so. True Confession of my soul: 7. I'm OCD orderly. About being random. :) Whenever I post a book review, it has 11 books. Because that's how many were in the first one. Whenever I post a movie review, there are 17. Because that's how many were in the first one. I'm very much a creature of habit. Random, but ordered. Creature.

True Confessions: 6.

"Forgive me Father..." "...for I have sinned." And gravely so. True Confession of my soul: 6. I no longer have a phone. Because I took it swimming with me. In the ocean. Salt and electronics don't go well together. We took it to my bro's jeweler friend tonight and he got alot of the corrosion off, but it's not looking like it's going to be enough. 'parently some of the circuits burned out. He's taking it and steaming it tomorrow, but there's only a sliver of hope it will work again. Great. One more brick on the pile on my back of crap I am supposed to deal with properly.

True Confessions: 2-5.

"Forgive me Father..." "...for I have sinned." And gravely so. True Confession of my soul: 2. I am a closet Geo-Cacher . I love it. Alot. My older Bro got me hooked, and two days ago, I even broke down and bought myself my own GPS. For almost $300. Eee. Merry Christmas to myself?! My Aunt has been helping my habit as well, and now I'm close to catching my brother on finds. And have Travel Bugs of my own to trade. If you don't know what Geo-caching is, you really need to learn . 3. I secretly, against all naysayers, laughers, and people who make fun of me endlessly, here . Though, this one I enjoy also, and it needs more players, so if you like to write, join us. 4. I eat at Waffle House . And love the food. I won't touch McD's , but I crave Waffle House. I'm just...complicated, okay? 5. All these confessions were necessary as per my upcoming Travelogue Post...

True Confessions: 1.

"Forgive me Father..." "...for I have sinned." And gravely so. True Confession of my soul: 1. I ate at McDonald's last night. EW. I'm sorry. In my opinion, McDonald's is the lowest of the low as far as fast food goes. I mean, I even put it below Beto's. And I ate there. (It was either that or starve, so I rationalized the sin). I'm just... above McD's. I mean, I know they are working really hard to change their image and be "healthy" or whatever, but I will always think of grease pit when I eat there. Always. No matter how they change their image. Or their food. It's just ingrained. Don't get me wrong, when I was a kid I totally ate there as much as any other little kid, and totally loved it. Happy Meal = Dreams coming true. But somewhere in my growing up, I lost that childhood innocence, and now, now I just despise the place. And laugh at people wearing expensive business suits and having dinner there. Sucker.
